Lieutenant General Ronald Place was in Pensacola Wednesday to visit NAS Pensacola and the Naval Hospital as part of the military's systemwide Medical Treatment Facility (MTF) Transition. Andrew McKay and General Place discussed not only the purpose of this transition and the expected benefits of it, but also why it's important to learn from the local providers how their current practices are structured and why they developed into what they are today.
