Newly-appointed Superintendent of Escambia County Schools, Dr. Timothy Smith joins the Pensacola Morning News to introduce himself to the citizens of Escambia County as he prepares to take over for Malcolm Thomas, who is set to retire at the end of his term. Dr. Smith is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and hails from Orange County, FL where he's the Executive Director of schools for that county.
